This new PIMA Medical Institute campus is approximately 40,000SF and consists of research labs, classrooms, library and offices. What's great about this location is that it is located in the heart of San Diego's North County. It is walking distance to California State University San Marcos and is a part of North City which is a community that offers multi-use activities such as dining, shopping, student housing, entertainment and outdoor recreation with 30 acres of parks.

PIMA Medical Institute having 16 campuses across the western U.S. strives to help students reach their goals in becoming a healthcare professional by providing quality medical career education. PIMA Medical Institute was first established in 1972, with the first campus built in Tuscon, Arizona and was used to help prepare students to become nursing assistants. More programs were later established and opened additional campus locations. Programs offered in the San Marcos location are Associate Respiratory Therapy, Certificates in Dental Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician and Veterinary Assistant.
